Menopause is a part of life for half of us.
And yet, it is bizarrely difficult to find information on menopause that is reliable, clear, and doesn’t reinforce harmful views on women and aging.
This is why we created the Menopause Wellness Circle! Together we will gain confidence and insight as we move into this new phase of life.
Whether you are nearing perimenopause, in the middle of perimenopause, or in post-menopause - this is the place for you.
A Different Approach
Our culture often spreads toxic or fear-filled messages about women and menopause - that it is a diminishment we should fight against as long as possible.
We are reclaiming the narrative around menopause! We believe that honoring this natural life transition will improve your experience - physically, emotionally and spiritually. Together we can create a new model of menopause - one that is healthy, powerful, nourishing and wise.

She is also an experienced meditation practitioner, with decades of practice in a variety of traditions and techniques. She has experience leading guided meditations for individuals and groups, and has been extensively trained as a Certified Facilitator of a specific method developed by Lama Tsultrim Allione.
Julia also practices as a ceremonialist, working one-on-one with people to create personalized ceremonies and rituals to mark important life transitions, whether celebrating joys, grieving losses, or honoring rites of passage. She is committed to helping create spaces and communities where women are honored and empowered throughout all stages of life.

Traci Moren, L.Ac.
Traci is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist with the California State Board of Acupuncture, specializing in women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, and perimenopause. As an acupuncturist, and former birth doula and sex educator, Traci has experienced the power of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is thrilled to share this approach to wellness with others. Through listening and witnessing, she offers a well-rounded, balanced, and solutions-oriented treatment plan to provide healthcare that is respectful, caring, inclusive and self-empowering.
Throughout her career, Traci has supported women through perimenopause with Traditional Chinese Medicine, but when she dove deeper into Western treatment options she found the available information confusing and generally lacking. Her patients echoed this experience, reporting that reliable and clear information on perimenopause was hard to come by, even from their own doctors. Traci realized that the resources just weren’t out there, and that she might need to create something herself!
Testimonials
Huong N
"Traci and Julia welcomed me with open arms and I joined a group of women who listened and understood. We cried, we laughed, and I’ve never felt so seen in my life."
Mo M
"The group really gave me a chance to honor this rite of passage in my life - to celebrate it instead of fear it - and feel empowered. I highly recommend it!"
Libby E
"This group was everything my body and soul needed for such a vulnerable chapter in my life, and Traci and Julia are the perfect pair to shepherd you through this chapter. How does anyone get through this personal evolution without a women's circle of support!?"

I am not in perimenopause yet. Can I still join?We will welcome you where you are. Whether you are interested in learning more about what's ahead, experiencing a few symptoms of perimenopause, in the thick of it, or not sure if you're in perimenopause or not, you are welcome here!
-
I already went through menopause. Can I still join?We have two distinct offerings. Based on your needs, one or the other may be a better fit for you, but you are welcome at both! In The Full Circle: A Six Week Foundations Course, some of the information likely won’t be relevant to you, as it is geared towards women in perimenopause. However, a lot of the course covers information about healthy aging and emotional wellness that would be useful and relevant to post-menopausal women. Menopause Out Loud: A Monthly Meetup is focused on building community and support around the topic of peri/menopause. We welcome those who are farther along on their menopause journey. Your insight and experience would be a valuable addition to our group.
-
Does the Menopause Wellness Circle advocate for a particular treatment approach? Our intention is to promote informed decision-making rather than a particular treatment or approach. We recognize that everyone has a unique experience, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. We aim to create a nonjudgmental space to discuss the pros and cons of various approaches.Take what is useful, and leave the rest behind.
-
How do I know if The Menopause Wellness Circle is the right fit for me?We take a holistic approach that includes your mind, body, and soul. This is because we believe that honoring this natural life transition will improve your experience - emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Together we can create a new model of menopause - one that is healthy, powerful, nourishing and wise. We have two different offerings: The Full Circle: A Six Week Foundations Course - a structured course providing a comprehensive foundation for menopause wellness. Menopause Out Loud: A Monthly Meetup - a drop-in group to learn and connect with your MWC community. If you take the six-week course and want to stay connected to the community you’ve created, you can continue that connection by attending the monthly meetups. If you aren’t able to do the six-week course right now, you can still come to the monthly meetups whenever you are available. If you aren’t sure if The Menopause Wellness Circle is the right fit for you, fill out an interest form and we’re happy to get back to you and answer any questions you have.
-
Can I bring my husband/ boyfriend/ male friend? These groups are specifically for people who have experienced peri/menopause (or will in the future). This allows for more open conversation and a feeling of comfort and safety. While support people (who have not/ will not go through peri/menopause) are not able to attend these groups, if there is interest we may offer a one-day course geared toward support people. Fill out our interest form if this is something you might be interested in.
-
Is the Menopause Wellness Circle only for cisgender women? No. We welcome all gender identities in this group, provided perimenopause is (or will be) part of your life experience. However, the research is almost non-existent around the trans experience of perimenopause. We want to be upfront that our knowledge and experience is limited as far as the nuances and specialized care needed to fully support trans perimenopause. That said, the holistic treatment approaches are universally supportive and we are committed to creating a beautiful, inclusive community.
-
Do you offer an online option? Not yet! But fill out our interest form if this is something you might be interested in.
-
Will you discuss Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)?We will discuss HRT, or what is now known as Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT). We will discuss what MHT can help with, possible side effects, and alternatives. We will also discuss steps to take prior to starting MHT to ensure safety and a positive experience, including questions to ask your doctor.
-
How many people will be in The Full Circle: A Six Week Foundations Course? We will move forward with a minimum of 6 people, and we'll cap the group with a maximum of 14 people. We will form a waiting list for future groups.
-
How will this group look out for my safety and comfort?Your safety and comfort are a top priority! Our meetings are held in an office building with a locked front door with a buzzer. Since the meeting will end after dark, we will ensure that everyone has an escort to their car when leaving. At our first meeting, we will also work together to create our Group Agreements. This will be our contract with each other to ensure that all circle members are treated respectfully. We want everyone to clearly understand the boundaries and agreements of the group. If there is anything we can do to help you feel more comfortable, let us know!
-
How much does The Full Circle cost? The early bird price is $325 if you register by July 30th, 2025. The regular fee is $375. If you are able to do so, please consider increasing your investment, so that we can offer need-based scholarships. (Suggested amount: $500, but any increase over the regular fee helps us offer scholarships.) We aim to make this course accessible to people of all income levels, while still keeping the course financially sustainable. If the regular fee is unaffordable for you, please contact us for scholarship information.
-
How many people will be at Menopause Out Loud: A Monthly Meetup?Since it is a drop-in group, the size of each group will vary. We will hold the meetup each month, regardless of size, so you can always count on the group to be there.
-
Do I need to RSVP?We really appreciate it when you RSVP- it helps us plan ahead. However, if you are able to come at the last minute but haven’t RSVPed, please don’t let that stop you from joining! We still want you there! Menopause Out Loud is a drop-in group, so no commitment is required.
